Predictive Maintenance and Optimization of Wind Turbines with Big Data Machine Learning Cloud
The WINDELIN project will research and develop Big Data as a Service (BDaaS) pre-commercial solution that predicts structural failure and optimizes efficiency of Internet connected wind farms. WINDELIN collects real time vibration signals using novel sensor technology (outcome 1), stores exabytes of data into next generation NoSQL database (outcome 2) and extends recent machine learning algorithms (outcome 3) to provide accurate prediction and optimisation through Big Data technology (outcome 4)
